Q. Do I have to sign a long term lease?
A. We offer month to month leasing, so that you will not be obligated to a long term lease.
Q. Is there a buy-in fee and or a security deposit?
A. No. There are no buy in fee or security deposit required to move into our community. However, there is a small one-time community fee.
Q. Do you offer any continuum of care?A. Yes. We have a home health agency on site. They are able to meet most of the needs that may arise, which will allow you to age in place. We also welcome any other services you may need such as; physical therapy, occupational therapy, hospice, etc.
Q. How will my loved one be able to get their medications?A. There are several local pharmacies that are willing to deliver free of charge to Independence Village. The closest of these is Eckard Drug which is located in Olde Raleigh Village Shopping Center.
Q. Do you have residents that still drive and where do they park?A. We have many residents that drive and we offer plenty of available parking spaces around the perimeter of our community, which allows easy access to your apartment.
Q. Am I able to modify my apartment and what are the restrictions?
A. You are allowed to virtually any modifications i.e. shelving, painting, stenciling, etc. As a general rule we do not allow any structural changes to be made to the apartment.
